Women’s Circles
Group
Ever wondered why women’s cycles sync up when they live in close proximity? Or noticed that the average woman’s cycle is a length of 28 days, just like the Luna cycle?
In 2020 my period had been M.I.A for five and a half years years. I had tried everything under the sun. I stumbled across a women's circle event by the beautiful Lulu Cooper. A friend and I went. It was a very new experience, I was not used to talking about my feelings with strangers or practising such deep self-reflection. A girl at the circle mentioned that she lost her period ten years ago and got it the month after attending her last circle. I was amazed but honestly pretty doubtful. Two weeks later, hello bleed. Despite getting my period back or not I still would have been hooked by the connection of these circles. I felt so held in this space and more connected to my body than I had in a long time.
So now I feel called to hold space for others to experience this powerful and somewhat forgotten tradition of conscious gathering.
Expect an intimate space for women to reconnect with each other and their own bodies. These circles are a space to develop a deeper understanding of your body’s wisdom and experience the power of conscious connection. Where you learn how to work with your bodies, we welcome vulnerability and raw conversation (as much as you wish to reveal). Truly listening and hearing others’ experiences for what they are. And of course… delicious food.
In today’s world, women tend to feel threatened by the success or beauty of other women. We have learned to compete and compare with each other. These circles are a time to explore the power of support, acceptance and vulnerability.
We come together to share beautiful food, learn about our precious bodies, realise we are not alone in our trials and tribulations and create a sisterhood.
